While a story involving a relationship between an alien slime mold and a human sex worker is indeed an interesting idea, I can't help but to be instinctively averse to anything that even remotely looks like an image of a certain wizard.
No offense intended, but I (and many like me) have personal beef with the author of those wizard books, and I fear that this book might unintentionally get caught in the crossfire, thereby inducing some rather unfortunate PR issues on one's career.
