I had some extra milk that needed to be used up and so I turned to my grandma's Joy of Cooking cookbook.
Puddings take about 4 Cups of milk when made from scratch.
Tapioca was my pudding of choice. I thought the recipe peculiar, seeing it called for the use of a double broiler. 3 hours of it!!
Interesting.
Following it to a T, THIS is what it turned out to be!
So....it's tapioca pudding...but much like Bread pudding or 1800s plum pudding
