For #Caturday, a #Jaguar, albeit one that thinks it’s a Daimler. From the mid-sixties onwards, Daimler badged Jaguars, whether based on the 420 or the later XJ, were called Daimler Sovereigns. The exception were V12 Daimlers, which carried the designation Double Six. In 1983, the Sovereign model name was transferred to the top variant of the Jaguar-badged XJ. The Daimler-badged car continued but without a model name. Seen at the British Motor Museum in 2023.
