My position on #NoKings is a bit mixed.
OOH, these protests have to happen because the GOP and the Right have made it abundantly clear that they consider even tepid liberal Democrats to be the "enemy" to be suppressed and liquidated as much as folks further Left; and counterprotest and actions need to be done NOW before they destroy what's left of an working democracy.
OTOH, though, I no more trust a movement to ultimately elect more right-wing Democrats to abuse the Left than I can spit.
