For the first time since using JAWS 2026, when I started JAWS it prompted me to sign in using my Vispero account credentials. Even though these credentials are stored in 1Password, for whatever reason 1Password would not autofill my credentials when I pressed ctrl+\. I didn't think to try pressing down arrow to see if autofill would kick in.
I had to open 1Password, search for the portal credentials, copy my password to the clipboard and then paste it into the password entry field. I was then able to sign in but incidents like this could put some people off who just want to use their screen reader without having to go through an unexpected step to avoid interruption. I'm not sure what happened to make JAWS think I wasn't signed in.
