Jason Arday, the Cambridge professor who was at the centre of a plagiarism row, has been found dead just 9 days after his resignation.

Professor Simon Baron-Cohen, who is the head of autism research at Cambridge, warned two weeks ago that the constant media coverage of Arday, was effectively bullying. And it meant he was at an increased risk of self-harm, due to having autism.

Unfortunately his prophecy has come true.
