Partner bought a Ural with a sidecar probably about 25 years ago. It was about as quality as you would expect anything Russian built to be. He was constantly fixing the electrics. The air filter had no cover and would drown itself in any sort of rain. In spite of looking like something Indiana Jones would ride to fight Nazis*, it had this tiny little horn that sounded like it was meant for a tricycle.
For some reason the beginning of #SoldOutOnYou episode 2 has me thinking about that motorbike again.
* Indy rode a Dneipr, a cousin of the Ural. They look virtually the same. In case you were wondering.
