I finally got around to disabling all Git (and other VCS) integrations in JetBrains Rider. I've always trained myself to just ignore it, but it slows down the IDE and I don't like seeing it.
The only acceptable way to use Git is via the CLI. It is known. And now, finally, my IDE respects that.
Now just to figure out how to do the same in Visual Studio, when I get to work on Monday and I'm back on Windows. :-D
