Agreed. I’m on a co-op instance now, which seems more sustainable, but time will tell. I personally don’t need the hyper-engagement stats that defined many Twitter accounts. I can understand seeking something Twitter-ish if you’re mostly interested in uni-directional engagement with occasional conversations (marketing & void screaming), but I’m more interested in popping in for conversations when I have a moment. I don’t doom scroll here, and for me, that’s a healthier way to engage.
