There's a digger at the bottom of our garden.

The Great On-Grid Project of 2026 progresses. The trench is nearly at our gate, where another Huge Hole will have to be dug for another junction. From there, the cable has to go through plastic ducting the last 30 metres, then up the hockey stick and into the meter box.
Meantime I've had an email from the electricity supply company to ask me to take a meter reading....
