Reportedly #Binance were compromised when one of their engineering team used a work laptop to apply for another job. "Just download this software before we do the interview / coding test".
I am taking the opportunity to remind my team at work that the reason I am an annoying and irritating git when it comes to constantly nagging them about security is not (just) because I enjoy being an annoying and irritating git. Their laptops are literally the keys to our entire infrastructure.
