You're right, that is a bit of a pain 😅 My plan was to cover anything I had coolers for, and only then test the bare thermal performance of said board. The closest I'd do to what you're looking for here is likely something like the RPi CM5 in a range of configs like, bare SoC, bare SoC in case, passive heatsink, passive heatsink in case etc. I'm not sure I'd get fruity enough to find a box and test it like that, it was mainly destined to be for actual products :D
