Dear Senator -
Before our democracy dies on the pavement in front of us, I want you to use your power and vote no on DHS's budget. Only Congress has the power to rein DHS in, and I want you to exercise that power.
This Republican Administration is engaged in a tactical pause, not a reconsideration of a failed policy. They do not see their policy as failing, they see only an unfortunate recording of the truth that they cannot lie their way out of. DHS has shot and killed others with no witnesses and no uproar. They will take steps to make sure people cannot record them, but they will not change how they do business. Their internal policy documents and leaked memos support my point.
Americans across the nation are protesting the abuses DHS are perpetrating on the American people. Join us in our relentless commitment to justice for the victims of DHS abuse.
Vote no on DHS's budget. Impeach and remove the leadership for their constant lies.
