#WritersCoffeeClub Oct. 2 (CONT'D)
Being really fair to myself, while almost none of that is images, a *lot* of it is "ref" folders for scrapped ideas in an existing thing, probably over half the files are phone notes I need to combine into larger files, and I have a whole "salvage" folder full of not so much half-baked ideas as ingredients.
And to be really fair, *Renard* was one of those: Cass as a mage with really cool visuals who I wrote paragraphs on without being able to explain why Renard and Carmen were tagging along as soldiers, each with one glorious line more or less saying, "right, this exists." You never know when something will crystallize. I randomly looked at the file, saw Renard at the top, thought I should fill him out a bit, and ended up with a new MC, a plot, Chaz being split from Cass, and probably at least one other party member all in one whirlwind session. All because time had made me assume Renard was MC by virtue of being listed first when really it was just to spit him out.
