I bet petrol generators are too, I've been hearing scalpers have been asking €1000 for a lousy petrol generator worth €300.
So off to the big city. Damage on the way varied a lot. One village had barely anything, another looked like the battle of the Bulge, exploded trees everywhere, snapped off street lights, power lines dangling on the ground between, one house had a giant tree embedded in the middle of the roof.
The rain is subsiding, tomorrow should be dry so I can tackle some roof work. Still feeling a bit sick and couldn't stop sneezing after yesterdays work.
