I also have 7TB. Holds quite a bit. I also only save shows that are precious or hard to get. Shows like Canadian baking show or Pottery Throwdown I delete after we watch the season.
I generally just try to get 1080p and no special audio or “extras”. Anything beyond that just soaks up the drives. Still waiting for prices to come down T.T
