You seem to be conflating / confusing capitalism and greed. Or assuming that people doing evil things with money therefore makes money evil. These are sad fallacies and I believe you have the intelligence to know this.
Socialism and Communism have absolutely existed - here again Mao, Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot - and we can judge the tree by its fruits. It is disingenuous to hold up this same argument about capitalism (that it is bad because you can point it its negative effects) but then deny the same for socialism or communism.
No system is perfect and all systems will have negative effects - putting the negative effects of capitalism - of which there certainly are many - side by side with the same of socialism / communism, I would choose capitalism any day. Unless and until someone, perhaps the actively dissenting voices against capitalism, like yourself I suppose, can present a better alternative.
Anyways, no need to argue. I don’t have to to agree with you on everything, or really anything, to still appreciate your voice here on Nostr.
