Good morning!
The temperature for my early-morning walk was 10 degrees F higher than it was yesterday as we move into another hot spell. But there was red in some of the trees as a reminder that fall is indeed coming.
#Today I'm going to start writing the last chapter of my new Gavin Rownt medieval mystery. I think I'm going to call the book "The Informant." I would have preferred a medieval English word for "spy," but the common word was "explorator" and people wouldn't know what that was, and "spy" sounds too modern to me. "Intelligencer" is another possibility, but it didn't come into use until the 16th century. What do you think?
Have a good one, my friends, and keep on keeping on.
