Today was a quiet day for me.
Some might say I was wasting time.
I don't think we can really waste time.
It marches on no matter how productive we are.
I clearly was ready for a rest.
A few essential chores got done.
Mostly I read my book, did some embroidery and listened to my husband's views on current events. He is unapologetically liberal in his old age.
I just love that about him.
One more towel is finished.
Because my list of people who want towels has been reconstituted with new names I had to order more patterns. I might draw the next one and make it an original.
I feel way better than I did this morning.
I think this extra rest is a great way to start my week.
