#Fairphone|s are not supposed to be waterproof (because #repairability requires to not seal the device with glue I guess?).
Yet, yesterday I accidentally dropped my nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyd968gmewwp6kyqpqakmkwpqgxf6sd3g6argalv8lalx06j7a65xr3gw3lhwf93k22mzq03jch8 (nprofile…jch8) 6 into 40cm deep water, then noticed I lost it, called it (it rang!) and pulled it out a few minutes later.
I was able to unlock and switch off the device, picked up a screw driver and took it apart (which is easy). Turns out only minimal amounts of humidity had entered through the SIM card slot & speaker. 💦 ♥️
