The #IDF needed a Supreme Court order to do its basic job (return a Palestinian family to their home in #Jalud) and still couldn't pull it off. When the military needs a court to tell it to enforce the law, then fails because its regional commander grew up in an illegal settlement, and takes orders from settler-colonizers, you've stopped being a defense force. Some would say that as the enforcer of an occupation, you’ve never been one.
#Haaretz’s editorial says it plainly: "It's no longer the Israel Defense Forces, but the Israel Settlers Forces." This is a conclusion no longer possible to deny after watching settlers torching cars and homes while Border Police officers watch.

Israeli forces failed to protect a Palestinian family returning to their occupied West Bank home under court order. ~100 settlers attacked #Jalud overnight, torching homes & vehicles, wounding 3 Border Police. The #Tubasi family had been expelled 2 months prior; High Court ordered their return. #IDF didn't coordinate with police/Shin Bet - - only 12 officers were at the scene. The "Operation" began at 23:00 during Sukkot when outposts were full.
I wonder what would have happened if a group of Palestinians attacked an IDF force. A mob of 150 settler-colonizers attacked a surprised and defenseless IDF force? No one should buy this bullshit.

A sick state, a stupid and pretend army... only arrest, trial, harsh sentencing + heavy fines might maybe help.
