I've wanted to be in a position to install rooftop #solar for decades, and now that I am it seems the UK government is the barrier with such a bad economic case based on paltry feed in tariffs. I will look at batteries though as I'm used to this in my boat. If I ever get an EV it would help but I do very little mileage so meh.
I've yet to do the maths, but I'm not expecting this to look attractive at a time when I have to be careful where I spend capital on my #renovation.
