Taproot assets on Bitcoin can't be frozen; that would require that a Bitcoin transaction be freezable.
Stablecoins aren't good long term since they carry issuer risk on top of the debasement risk.
My argument is that we should use the stablecoin fervor to expand Bitcoin acceptance through Bitcoin-native stablecoins.
