I can't *really* complain about how it is up here in my part of 🇨🇦, but *wow* I wish it was that easy for me.
I had to pay out of pocket to see a therapist (remote, thankfully) specialising in gender-affirming stuff for a couple sessions, get this multi-page questionnaire from her filled out with 'yes she has dysphoria and wants HRT', *then* take that to my family doctor, set up a referral with the only big clinic in downtown Vancouver, a good 2-3 hour drive...
