It saddens me that internet is slowly and (I believe) unintentionally creeping into the very contrary of the visionary that invented it.
It is centralized into a couple web hosting platform where self-hosting by a small team have became unviable by the AI exploitation machine; in the same time, internet is the last bastion of proprietary software, since they are the only place not vulnerable to the slop reverse engineering machine.
What a time to live :) We have seen the entire rise and fall of the dream of open internet in less than half of a life time.
