Why would you try to figure out the number of squares. Rather than just go by weight?
If the paper is too thin you will just use more length of it.
Weight is easy to understand, you get what you pay for. No one is tricked.
Do you wan't thin fluffy tp or thick hard or something between, no matter what type of tp you buy they are all sold by weight so no one is tricked.
The weight of the inner roll is not a way to trick people since it isn't cheaper to produce than the tp itself.
