I'm quite a few months into my move to Linux for all of my personal computers, including my gaming PC. Here's where I'm at:
- Linux gaming is fine, as long as you stick to the Steam ecosystem. Occasionally you have to tweak something, but it mostly just works. I haven't run across any games that I can't play. Outside of the Steam ecosystem it gets messy quite quickly, although projects like Lutris and Heroic Launcher do a good job.
- GamePass is a non-starter.
