I have twice as many cucumbers in need of pickling, so I keep a revolving table for ripening, pickling, canning slicing etc. It looks chaotic but it's an inspiration to use all of the harvests as they come in. I even have my daughter slicing and dicing occasionally! She is NOT inclined to farming, as she calls it. i am a compulsive grower, I think. But only 7 months of the year !
