"content": "Apart from yesterday’s Stinger, there aren’t many sporty cars in Kia’s back-catalogue. But I was reminded of another one when I saw this M100 Lotus Elan at Cars in the Park in Lichfield recently. The M100, unusually for Lotus, was a front-wheel drive car. It got a lot of good reviews at launch in 1989 but had a short life as a Lotus. In an odd twist, the design was bought by Kia, which put it into production in South Korea in 1996 as the Kia Elan.\n\n#davidsdailycar #Lotus #Kia #WeirdCarMastodon\n\nhttps://files.mastodon.online/media_attachments/files/116/917/471/646/813/855/original/317480e966411c90.jpeg",
