You can secure your keys perfectly and still get robbed at your own front door.
On August 3, three people broke into a home in France looking for crypto. They were caught mid-search because someone saw it coming.
Most holders build the digital layer and stop there. Cold storage, multisig, the hardware wallet in a drawer. The keys are not the weak point here. The front door is.
What stopped it in this case was advance warning. Someone knew enough to act before the search turned into a confrontation.
