Phase 1, The Grand Disclosure, of The Great Kitchen Wall Lining Project of 2026 mostly completed. The north facing wall has been cleared of mould ready for insulation, then I'll start on the lining boards. As usual, built-by-eye house is incredibly skew. In the pic, the window frame is vertical. What's more, the floor slopes quite dramatically downhill from the door.
Phase n or maybe n+x, will be laying new flooring.
The plan was to do this job 25 years ago. No sense in hurrying though.
