Interesting statistic that explains why young people get into more accidents than older populations and it has nothing to do maturity, inexperience, distractions, or other youth/people in the car. No. It's a consequence of teenage brains being forced out of bed at hours that don't jive with their bodies. This is what the science says. Teenage accidents decrease 70% when high schools start a few hours later. It's laterally that simple. At some point as you age the body changes and this is not an issue. It doesn't impact pre-pubescent children and those who've aged out of this "teen" period (which varies a little from person to person).
