I just don't understand what motivates Russians. Like, this whole war is just a mystery to me. Why did they start it? Why did they run their own homeland into the ground, destroy their economic power and political influence, drain their retirement fund and abandon their civilian industries, sell themselves to the Chinese, and encourage separatist movements all along their periphery... just to gain a wasteland along the Ukrainian eastern edge and some nice beaches? Like, fr? Who thought this was a good idea? This was never a good idea.
Same weird own-goal like the USA trying to invade Iran. 🤦🏻♀️
Did you not know how gigantic and resilient Ukraine and Iran are? Do you Not own a map? 🗺️ Did you learn **nothing** from Afghanistan? Do you have tapioca pudding, where your brain should be?
I have so many questions and they have no answers. Just, "Well, it seemed like a fun idea, at the time." 🙄
