GrapheneOS is not a niche OS for people targeted by state actors as you're implying. It's a privacy project backing that up with serious privacy and security enhancements. Unlike Fairphone and /e/, GrapheneOS preserves the standard privacy and security patches/protections of the Android Open Source Project. It provides very important privacy and security patches missing elsewhere along with major privacy and security enhancements. These are important to everyone, not rare attacks.
