if someone says "b-but how am i supposed to remember 57 different sets of pronouns and 406 different genders for every person i meet?!?!" then at best they're uneducated about trans people and at worst are purposefully shadowboxing a strawman of a trans person to spread hate. similarly, if you say "b-but how am i supposed to remember all your 500 alters?!?!?" you're at best uneducated and at worst a malicious actor.
