is something similar happening with what many who develop their clients in NOSTR in adding Google as a login?
is it a good idea to be using Google as an extension to attract more users to NOSTR?
if bitcoin seeks to enable one to move money without going through a financial institution, NOSTR seeks to ensure that one no longer has to depend on bigtech to connect and talk to others.
entering Google, ICloud, Twitter or logging in using Github is the same as believing that making them not drop their emails yet will then start using private keys.
what would happen if those who maintain clients, instead of encouraging them to use signers or create their own keys, began to move away from one of those tools and stopped logging in with a formant to the bottom while they stopped logging in with Google as the option? more visible?
