... I'm almost always disappointed.
1. There just aren't that many decent magazines out there on any subject.
2. They are expensive as hell these days. Part of the appeal of magazines were that they were cheap. Now, a single physical magazine sometimes the same or more than a decent book. And you're generally going to get more in depth info in a book.
3. The internet has killed the thought of them being a place to get the latest info. They are sometimes months behind the latest developments.
