[@h_tejas](https://newsie.social/@h_tejas ) Someone I've followed for a while on Instagram—a professional dancer in Mumbai—has posted today about how leaving the house seems to be getting more dangerous. He said "We hear of the crime but we don't hear about the punishment," and that resonates with something I've been curious about for a while—is the problem underreporting of consequences, or a lack of consequences due to issues with the justice system? Or is the initial policing and investigation the problem? (Or all three?!) Would be really interested to hear your thoughts on it.
