It breaks my fucking heart to realize how much she must be suffering right now.
I know she has a lot of loving people in her life. I know this little child finds (& creates) a lot of joy in her life.
But it simply is not possible that she is "fine". It is not ok for a parent to treat you like an inconvenience or an accessory to their life. That is a deep wound.
A kid doesn't just stop talking to her dad whom she used to adore on a whim. She is hurt.
