Given the choice between the freedom of a stateless society and the continued slavery of living under a coercive state, most people will choose the slavery they know over the freedom they have never known.

It is fear of the unknown. Back in the day, many plantation slaves truly thought they were supposed to be the property of someone else. You could free a slave physically, but they were still a slave in their mind. When emancipation happened, many slaves were scared and confused...what will we do? Where will we live? Who will feed us?

Slavery never ended completely though, it was just rebranded. Now 99% of people are mentally enslaved and can't even imagine a life without the state controlling them.

Without laws, who would stop people from murdering each other? People would.

Without the state, who would feed the hungry and build the roads? People would.

The idea that we need a state, an organization of criminals constantly violating our rights in order to protect our rights is absurd. We can protect our own rights.

Would you turn into a bloodthirsty psychopath if there wasn't a government? No? Then why do you assume everyone else would? Why is it considered a given that chaos is the only possible result of not having government?

Government destroys more than it protects, steals more than it produces, and kills innocents on a regular basis.

Just sit for a minute and think about what life could be like without the state....

At least consider the possibility that it would be an improvement over the status quo. Think about how the state has every incentive to make you think you need them. Consider that you may have been lied to.

Open your mind to freedom.
