I've just been told by my parents that our elderly Labrador has just been put to sleep.

She was 15 years old (!), and we had her ever since she was a puppy.

I was the one who took her for walks, fed her, and she always used to sleep on my bed when I lived with my parents.

I feel sad that she is gone, but I know it was for the best. She wasn't in the best health over the last few years.
