tonight I called about a used e-bike on craiglist and ended up chatting with a 72 yr old German man for a good 20 minutes about how he’s selling the bike because he’s moving back to Germany, in large part because he doesn’t feel like he can get old and maintain a car free life in the US (getting too dangerous these days). this and he’s found a german town with more paper marionette artisans and he makes paper marionettes
