It is once again that I write about Age Verification regulations on the Internet. This time in English.

I saw Fediverse discourse around age verification over and over again, and what bothered me was that it always discussed only one facet of the problem - privacy.

So I wrote a blog post about it from my own, European perspective, with assumption that Zero Knowledge Proofs would become standard age verification mechanism in this space and why even despite of that, age verification still won't be a good idea.

Also a little about why I'm not signing the new EU Citizen initiative with what is in my opinion incredibly misleading title "Stop Killing The Internet: No Digital ID & No Age Verification".
