I think that at this point in my life, there is absolutely nothing that could ameliorate the feeling of alienation and isolation from tech. So long as I have never worked within, around, or for the major institutions, I will always remain an outsider, unworthy of consideration or interaction. I frequently ponder if this was due to growing up poor and going straight into tech, no school, no Harvard, no Stanford, or whatever else gets you into places.
