to be blunt, yes I do generally trust independent media outlets more than an individual I don’t know from the Internet. And that goes both ways (which is why I wasn’t happy about the pretty one-sided take by Mastodonians on the Amsterdam events).

I have zero love for Hamas. I have zero love for Islamic dictatorships or regimes. Or indeed any religious regimes. But displacing hundreds of thousands and destroying their homes is not the right response.
