If I had the testing and documentation skills to do so, I would absolutely love to get a job working at Texas Instruments *specifically* so I can give some love to the 4000-series.
Take each part number in the series, thoroughly characterize it using modern technology, and then write up a brand spanking new datasheet with high res graphics and charts for it.
