We were told that if we opened more land to drilling in the US, we'd be immune to energy price disruption due to foreign wars. But local producers who don't have to bear the costs of that chaos, still choose to charge us here like foreign producers do. They charge what the market will bear, reaping extra profits over foreign competitors. We lose pristine wilderness and still get fucked at the pump and via the inflation those prices cause. Shouldn't that now be reported on?
