The failure of James O'Brien to specifically name Nick Ferrari in his takedown of the lies that were spread on his show, as well as his expressing of disappointment in "people who should know better", adds to the belief of many that Ferrari somehow has it in his contract that he cannot be challenged at LBC.

So while not being named, at the very least it's a welcome change from his old line of "Well Nick's a mate, and he's not here to defend himself", whenever Ferrari's racism was brought up.
