With the pass of time I realized what always found something strange with Batman. As a kid, many wanted to be the caped "hero". But there was a big problem, you need to be born rich to be Batman.
He is the peak of meritocracy. He doesn't do what he does by himself, or built it by himself, he does it because he is filthy rich. And uses others.
And he is a authoritarian fascist, as well as a misoginistic bigot.
When mets Superman, he decides he needs a weapon to keep Superman, "just in case he goes rogue". When Batman is the one going rogue his whole live.
He always goes after a misunderstood "villain", Poison Ivy. Why? Because she is trying to stop billionaires like him, to avoid they kill the planet. Batman should be helping her, not fighting her. He mistreats many other female characters, even Catwoman.
I like DC way more than Marvel. But Batman in this time and age is a character no one will miss if he dissapears.
