I'm trying to bring a couple of new songs up to scratch for live performance. I refuse to use lyric sheets, so learning the words is a big part of the task.
This morning I awoke at 3:30am with one of the songs going around and around in my head. It was still on repeat when I woke again at 7:00am. And when I practiced the song later this morning ... I had almost all the words when I needed them!
I would like to thank my subconscious for pitching in and helping me learn these lyrics.
